Owensboro Day Treatment Center provides comprehensive education for juveniles as well as providing them with skills to better themselves and become contributing members of their communities.
About Owensboro Day Treatment Center
Owensboro Day Treatment Center instructs juveniles between the ages of 12-17 year olds from Owensboro public schools, Daviss, McClain, Hancock, and Henderson Counties. Students are transported from these counties to attend school at this location, between 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the regular academic school year.

Keith Wells, Facility Manager
Keith Wells has been with the department for 27 years serving at the Owensboro Day Treatment Center. He became the Juvenile Facility Manager in 2009. He attended Brescia University and graduated in 1995, with a degree in sociology and a minor in psych. While in school he participated in boys and girls club and spent time volunteering in a group home, which sparked his interest in the field.
Wells says he has always enjoyed working with youths and helping them to grow and make progress on improving themselves. He says he enjoys encouraging juveniles and being a supportive person for them.
