Mission Statement
Adair Regional Juvenile Detention Center maintains a safe and secure place for juveniles to grow and learn. All juveniles are approached with rehabilitation in mind and staff help them obtain skills to keep both themselves and their communities safe upon their return to society. 
 
About Adair Regional Juvenile Detention Center
Adair Regional Juvenile Detention Center was opened in 2000. It is a level 4 maximum security facility serving the entire commonwealth. The facility houses male juveniles 14 or older who have been charged with a violent or serious offense (C​apital, Class A, B or C felony) . The facility shares a campus with the Adair Youth Development Center.

Adair Regional Juvenile Detention Center has a maximum bed capacity of 60 juveniles and offers a variety of programs, including GED testing and various vocational education opportunities. Additionally, it provides certification in Microsoft Office 2016, woodworking, computer science and more.
