Jason Little, Facility Manager

Jason Little is originally from the Louisville area and moved to Breathitt County when he was 18 years old. He worked for a time at a local factory before beginning his career with the Department of Juvenile Justice as a youth worker for Breathitt Regional Juvenile Detention Center. He worked his way through management, becoming a supervisor in 2005, a Youth Service Program Supervisor in 2018, and Juvenile Facility Manager in 2021, a position he continues to hold.

Little says growing up in Louisville allowed him to see many different things and various justices and injustices in the world. This led him to desire this career path, as he wanted to be on the side of justice and helping juveniles work through their problems to better themselves and their community.

He says his main source of motivation comes from getting to see the difference he has made in so many lives over the years.
